Forsyth Barr is pleased to support the Cambridge Autumn Festival by sponsoring the inaugural Forsyth Barr Short Story Competition.
The Cambridge Autumn Festival is an annual celebration that provides a variety of events for the community including theatre, music, comedy and a street parade. The event is being held from 21st until the 25th March 2012.
This is the first year that the Short Story Competition has been run and Forsyth Barr is delighted to contribute to this as sponsors. Cambridge Autumn Festival Trustee Alan Milton said “Having a short story competition is a perfect complement to the festival events. We want to encourage budding writers and we hope that this will be the start of an annual competition, with a different theme each year.”
Short story entries for the Forsyth Barr Short Story Competition are now closed and being reviewed, with winners announced during the Autumn Festival 21st until 25th March 2012. The theme for the short story competition this year is ‘autumn’ with first prize $1000, second prize $500 and third prize $250.
