Throughout our history, Forsyth Barr has sought to employ staff who share similar values to our firm – a commitment to quality client service, meeting and exceeding client expectations and, above all, people who always act ethically and in the best interests of clients.
At Forsyth Barr we foster a culture of loyalty and commitment. We encourage long-term relationships with clients and support this with our values as an employer. We encourage individuals to develop to their best potential.
Qualified Investment Advisers
Our Investment Advisers come from wide and varied backgrounds. Clients have a choice when it comes to selecting an Investment Adviser to deal with.
What our retail Investment Advisers have in common is a requirement for NZX accreditation, and FMA authorisation as an Authorised Financial Adviser (AFA) under the new regulatory regime. These credentials provide you as a client with the requisite confidence that your primary Investment Adviser is competent, capable, ethical and maintaining an up-to-date set of professional standards.
As well as requiring your primary Investment Adviser to hold the highest industry qualification, we have a structured professional development programme which keeps their knowledge and skills up-to-date through internal training, business planning, external courses, conferences and daily market update briefings, among other things.
Within this structured framework, we encourage our Investment Advisers to use their skills to provide quality advice and service to clients. More information is provided under Investment Advisers.
