Mike Baxter joined Forsyth Barr in 2004. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with particular focus on portfolio management, equities, fixed income, KiwiSaver, share investment funds, margin lending, futures, options and a number of other derivative products.
Mike is an Authorised Financial Adviser (2011) and is accredited as an NZX Adviser. As well as completing the NZX Diploma in 1994, Mike has a Financial Services Institute of Australasia Diploma (FINSIA), has completed Level 1 and 2 towards the Accredited Derivatives Advisor (ASX) and in 2004 completed the NZX Futures & Options Accreditation Derivatives Course (NZX).
Outside of work Mike enjoys a relaxing time with his family and friends. He is enjoying his return to golf and occasional social tennis, with other keen interests now predominantly viewed from the sideline.
