About Blair

Blair Simpson joined Forsyth Barr in 2026. He has over 20 years’ experience in financial markets, having held senior portfolio management and trading roles. 

Blair is currently working towards his NZX Adviser Accreditation and completed the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) (Investment) in 2025. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance & Accounting. 

Blair lives in Queenstown with his wife, Judy, and their three children. They enjoy making the most of the region’s outdoor lifestyle, spending much of their time skiing and biking in the surrounding mountains.
