About Chelsea
Chelsea Leadbetter joined Forsyth Barr in 2008 and has held a range of senior roles across the business. She was appointed an Executive Director in 2022. She is currently Head of Wealth Product & Strategy and leads the design, development, and management of Forsyth Barr’s wealth products and investment services, while shaping and driving the firm’s long-term wealth strategy.
Prior to this, Chelsea spent more than a decade in Forsyth Barr's Research team, where she was a consistently ranked analyst in the INFINZ industry awards. She was also the recipient of the INFINZ Emerging Leader award in 2019.
Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science from Victoria University, majoring in Finance and Psychology. She received a Victoria Graduate Award and completed an Honours degree in Finance. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, a member of the Institute of Finance Professionals NZ (INFINZ) and currently serves as a Board Director for the CFA Society of New Zealand.
