About Ed
Ed Porter joined Forsyth Barr Auckland in 2024. He has over 35 years of experience in financial markets, including portfolio management and wealth adviser roles.
Ed is registered as a financial adviser and accredited as an NZX Adviser. He holds a BCA in International Economics and Finance from Victoria University in Wellington.
Ed is originally from Wellington but moved to Auckland with his young family in 2012. Away from the office he enjoys golf and sings bass with Auckland Choral, which has been around for 170 years.
