About Hamish

Hamish joined Forsyth Barr in April 2022. He has over 20 years’ experience in the banking sector, predominantly aligned to the Agri sector in the Wairarapa and Tararua regions.

Hamish is registered as a financial adviser and accredited as an NZX Adviser. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Valuation and Property Management from Lincoln University.

Hamish is married to Sandy and they have four children, and operate a small farm in the Tinui district. He has been actively involved in administration and management with schools and representative sports teams. Hamish places a strong emphasis on establishing long-term relationships with his clients, and providing sound strategic advice to help them reach their investment goals.
