About Kim
Kim joined Forsyth Barr in 2026, bringing eight years of experience across a range of roles in the wealth management industry. Before joining the firm, he spent nearly two years in Germany, where he broadened his corporate experience through an investment data analysis role with a major insurance company.
Kim is registered as a financial adviser and is currently working towards his NZX Adviser accreditation. He holds the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) (Investment) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland.
Kim is a former New Zealand hockey representative and remains actively involved in the sport. During his time abroad, he also played two seasons of club hockey in Germany. Outside of work, Kim enjoys tennis, golf, skiing and continuing to improve his German language skills.
