About Lauren

Lauren Mackenzie joined Forsyth Barr in 2017 and has over 17 years' experience in wealth management, including private banking experience in New Zealand and international finance experience gained in London.

Lauren advises high-net-worth individuals and families, retirees, charitable trusts and not-for-profit organisations, and international investors. Her expertise spans sophisticated portfolio construction and management through to retirement planning, with a focus on preserving wealth, generating sustainable income and achieving long-term growth. Lauren also has expertise in the Active Investor Plus (AIP) category, designing and managing migrant investment portfolios for clients establishing their lives and investments in New Zealand.

Lauren is registered as a Financial Adviser and accredited as an NZX Adviser, holding the National Certificate in Financial Services (Financial Advice) Level 5 (2012).

Outside of work, Lauren leads an active lifestyle and enjoys spending time with her two young children.
