About Nick
Nick re-joined Forsyth Barr in 2025 having previously been the Head of Legal from 2014 to 2022. He is an experienced financial services lawyer and a current board member of the Financial Markets Authority. A former Partner at Russell McVeagh, he sat on the NZ Markets Disciplinary Tribunal for more than ten years, and has also worked as a trader in wholesale financial markets in New Zealand and offshore.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Victoria University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Honours) from Canterbury University.
