About Seby

Seby Reeves joined Forsyth Barr in 2018. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry across New Zealand, Sydney and London. Prior to joining Forsyth Barr he spent seven years at a New Zealand bank, where he held senior roles across its legal, corporate banking and private bank functions. As well as an Investment Adviser, Seby is the Manager of the Wellington office. 

Seby is registered as a financial adviser and is accredited as an NZX Adviser. Seby graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University (2005) and a Bachelor of Commerce from Otago University (2004). He was admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand (2005) and as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales (2007). Between 2006 and 2011 he worked in London as a banking and finance lawyer advising on project finance and private equity led mergers and acquisitions. 

Seby is Chairman of the Scots College Foundation and Committee Member of The Wellington Club.
