About Simon
Simon Cavanagh joined Forsyth Barr in 2026. He has worked in financial services for 30 years, with the last 20 years as a Private Banker/Financial Advisor and Regional Manager for a bank based in Hamilton.
Simon is registered as a financial adviser and accredited as an NZX Adviser. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree, a post Graduate diploma in Personal Financial Planning from Massey University, and the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) (Investment).
Simon loves living in the Waikato with his wife Shelley, and has two adult sons. He is a keen cyclist and enjoys participating in a number of sports socially as well as being a spectator. Simon enjoys long-term relationships with his clients and being one of their trusted professional advisors.
