Simon Cavanagh joined Forsyth Barr in 2026. He has worked in financial services for 30 years, with the last 20 years as a Private Banker/Financial Advisor and Regional Manager for a bank based in Hamilton.

Simon is registered as a financial adviser and is currently working towards his NZX Adviser accreditation. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree and post Graduate diploma in Personal Financial Planning from Massey University.

Simon loves living in the Waikato with his wife Shelley, and has two adult sons. He is a keen cyclist and enjoys participating in a number of sports socially as well as being a spectator. Simon enjoys long-term relationships with his clients and being one of their trusted professional advisors.
