Stephen Freundlich joined Forsyth Barr in 2026, having spent over 25 years working in financial services.

Stephen is currently working towards his registration as a financial adviser and his NZX Adviser accreditation. He has worked in MSCI’s Private Capital Solutions team as the New Zealand representative after a decade working in NZX listed organisations across Investor Relations, Strategy & Communications. Stephen has worked across Institutional Banking, Private Banking (Ultra High Net Wealth) and was an equities analyst in New Zealand for UBS and Macquarie.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and an MBA (Distinction) from the University of Otago Business School.
