Forsyth Barr is opening its 27th branch in Gisborne, strengthening our presence in regional New Zealand and bringing our investment services closer to clients across Tairāwhiti.
The new Gisborne office follows the opening of our 26th branch in Pukekohe earlier this year and reflects our continued investment in our regional network.
Forsyth Barr has a long history of working with investors and communities throughout regional New Zealand. The decision to establish a permanent presence in Gisborne reflects our belief in the value of being close to our clients and developing strong, long-term relationships within the communities we serve.
Forsyth Barr CEO Neil Paviour-Smith says Gisborne is a natural addition to the firm’s national network.

Gisborne is a natural extension of that approach, and we are delighted to be establishing a permanent presence in the region with a very experienced adviser team.”
The Gisborne team will bring together local knowledge, established relationships and extensive investment experience.
The team will include Gisborne residents Adam Lynch (who will join Forsyth Barr in mid-November) and Tamaaio Stewart (who will join at the end of September). They will be joined by experienced Forsyth Barr team members Camron Brugh, also based in the Gisborne office, and William Waite, who will support the team from Auckland.
