About Lawrie

Lawrie Jensen joined Forsyth Barr in 2018. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including financial planning, financial markets and senior corporate roles, in New Zealand and overseas.

Lawrie is registered as a financial adviser and is accredited as an NZX Adviser. Lawrie holds a number of Industry qualifications including the Graduate Diploma in Business Studies endorsed in Personal Financial Planning (Massey University, 2007).

Lawrie is a past President of his Rotary Club and was a Trustee and Board Treasurer for his children’s school.  He is also a former President of the Kapiti Chapter of Business Network International.  Lawrie provides a quality, tailored experience for his clients to help them achieve their goals and aspirations – to have the life they want!  His other great passion is his family. With three teenage sons, Lawrie and his wife Jo are involved in their many sporting interests and activities and also enjoy travelling, tramping and music.
