About Neil

Neil Ternouth joined Forsyth Barr New Plymouth in 2015, and has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry as a financial adviser.

Neil is registered as a financial adviser and is accredited as an NZX Adviser.  He holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Personal Financial Planning) from Massey University (2006) and a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) from the University of Cape Town (1984). 

Neil grew up in Zimbabwe and comes from a farming background. He immigrated to New Zealand in 2001 and settled in Taranaki, where he enjoys fishing, wildlife and the outdoors.  Neil enjoys developing long-term relationships with his clients, and assisting them with professional advice that enables them to plan for the present and the future.
