Michael joined Forsyth Barr in 2018, bringing over 30 years of experience across Financial Markets, Business Development and Technology roles.

Since the start of the internet in the 1990s, Michael has been involved in the commercialisation of opportunities offered by new technology and led large complex organisations along their digital transformation pathway. Cutting his teeth in the fast-growing financial markets in New Zealand in the 1980s led him to a multifaceted career in Japan, Australia, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Singapore.

After a break working in the wine and beverage industry, Michael’s career turned full circle when he rejoined the financial world via the software world in 2014.
