About Amanda

Amanda is an Associate Director in Forsyth Barr’s Investment Banking team. She previously spent eight years at ANZ New Zealand’s Institutional Banking Division.

Amanda has extensive capital markets experience, across both equity and debt capital markets. Her experience ranges across the energy, aged care, financial, property, infrastructure, telecommunications and insurance sectors. 

She has worked on many of New Zealand’s most substantial recent debt issuances, including Kiwibank’s $400m Subordinated Note Offer, Investore Property’s $62.5m Subordinated Convertible Note Offer, Chorus’ $170m Capital Note Offer, Kiwibank’s $275m Perpetual Preference Share Offer, Contact Energy’s $250m Green Capital Bond Offer and Mercury NZ’s $350m Capital Bond Offer.

She has also worked on many of New Zealand’s most notable recent equity issuances, including Vital Healthcare’s $235m Placement and Unit Purchase Plan, Precinct Properties’ $325m Placement and Share Purchase Plan, Vulcan Steel’s $97m Accelerated Renounceable Entitlement Offer, Ryman Healthcare’s $1bn Institutional Placement and Accelerated Non-renounceable Entitlement Offer and Channel Infrastructure’s $50m Accelerated Renounceable Entitlement Offer.

Amanda holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degrees from the University of Auckland.
