About Megan

Megan Glen joined Forsyth Barr’s investment banking team in 2023 as a director. Megan brings significant investment banking and asset management experience to Forsyth Barr, including from the NZ Super Fund where she was responsible for managing and transacting a portfolio of private direct investments. She also spent over five years with Credit Suisse’s investment banking group in New York as part of their Financial Sponsors Group supporting private equity firms with acquisitions, divestments and refinancing.

Megan has advised clients on a wide range of transactions across multiple industries, including property, infrastructure, financial services, healthcare and the primary sector.

Megan is currently a member of the New Zealand Takeovers Panel, the NZ Government’s regulator of the corporate takeovers market and is also on the Investment Committee for the Rātā Foundation, the South Island’s largest community investment fund. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Biology) and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Auckland.

Outside of work, Megan has three kids that keep her busy, but she still manages to enjoy squeezing in some exercise, especially running.
