About Megan

Megan joined Forsyth Barr’s investment banking team in 2023 as a director. Megan brings significant corporate finance and asset management experience to Forsyth Barr, most recently from the NZ Super Fund and Ascentro Capital Partners where she was responsible for managing and transacting a portfolio of private direct investments. She also spent over five years with Credit Suisse’s investment banking group in New York as part of their Financial Sponsors Group supporting private equity firms with acquisitions, divestments and refinancing.

Megan is currently a member of the New Zealand Takeovers Panel, the NZ Government’s regulator of the corporate takeovers market. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Biology) and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Auckland.

Outside of work, Megan has three young kids that keep her busy but she still manages to enjoy squeezing in some exercise, especially running.
