About Tim

Tim Hansen joined Forsyth Barr Napier as an Investment Adviser in 2020, after travelling overseas.  Prior to this, Tim was with the firm for over a decade, working in various roles including back office administration and as an Adviser Assistant.  He spent the last seven years as part of the Institutional Broking team.

Tim is registered as a financial adviser and is accredited as an NZX Adviser. He holds the NZX Diploma, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance, Economics) from the University of Canterbury (2007).

Tim relocated to his wife’s home town of Napier in late 2019. He thoroughly enjoys everything the Hawke's Bay has to offer and loves calling it home. Tim is a keen sportsman and enjoys being involved in all things sport, specifically golf, cricket, darts and rugby.
