About Tim

Tim is registered as a financial adviser and accredited as an NZX Adviser. He brings 26 years of financial markets experience, having worked across New Zealand, Tokyo, London and Hong Kong. He joined Forsyth Barr in 2017 as a Director on the Institutional desk, before moving to an Investment Adviser role in 2026. He provides investment advice on all the key areas of wealth management for a wide variety of clients including, individuals, family offices, trusts, companies & charities.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from University of Canterbury in 1999, has the NZX Diploma & holds the New Zealand Certificate in Financial services (Level 5).
