Earlier this year, Warren Buffett, the world’s most famous investor, said ‘We’ve never had people in a more gambling mood than now’. Buffett compared financial markets to a church with a casino attached. The church is long-term investing. The casino is short-term gambling. What has changed, he said, is that the casino has become much more crowded.
