About Hamish
Hamish joined Forsyth Barr’s investment banking team in 2022 as an analyst. Prior to Forsyth Barr, Hamish spent two years in the PwC Deals team advising on mergers and acquisitions, receiverships and property matters.
Hamish’s transactional experience includes acting on Infratil’s NZ$935m equity raise to fund its $1.8bn acquisition of the remaining 49.95% stake in One NZ, adviser to Spark on it’s exit of the Spark Sport platform and as a Joint Lead Manager on debt capital market transactions for Genesis, Contact Energy and Precinct Property.
Hamish holds a Master of Finance (Distinction) from the University of Otago and a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Finance and Economics from the University of Otago.
